Khalid Ali Johar is a well-known senior HR executive having more than 20 years of valuable experience with diverse corporate landscape in Qatar. He has worked with some of the leading blue-chip organisations in Qatar; such as Qatar Steel, Qatari Diar, Mowasalat, Qatar Museums Authority and Al Jazeera Media Network throughout his professional career.
Since 1995 when Johar began his professional career with the HR Department at Qatar Steel, he has continued to lead and implement major HR transformation programmes/initiatives which have had a very positive impact on the evolution of HR practices in Qatar. During his extensive stints with major corporate giants like Qatar Steel, Qatari Diar and Mowasalat, Johar was able to drive various large scale change programmes including automation and streamlining of HR Services that helped tremendously in raising the maturity levels of local HR industry.
Johar has got a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Qatar. He is currently working with Al Jazeera Media Network as the Executive Director of HR and Administration.
Given his vast experience and valuable contributions throughout his career, Johar is considered as a highly valued leader in the fields of HR and Administration at national level.
