Al Jazeera English has won 3 awards from the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA), in recognition of their coverage of the following stories: “A Toxic Spill in the Colorado River”, “Oil Exploration and Land Loss in Louisianan​” as well as “Food Sovereignty in the Passamaquoddy Tribe in Maine”.

Al Jazeera Balkans journalist Snježana Mulić-Softić won journalism award "Srđan Aleksić", which was established in 2010 by a non-governmental organisation. Snježana was nominated by the Association "Words of Peace".

Online News Association (ONA) has announced AJ+ a winner for the “General Excellence in Online Journalism”. AJ+ was nominated for the award along with Huffington Post, Bloomberg News, New York Times, and Vox.

Al Jazeera has won a silver award in the category of Best TV Programme Branding for its Al Jazeera English programme “In Search of Putin's Russia” at the BassAwards ceremony.

Güray Ervin from Al Jazeera Turk (AJT) was announced, in Istanbul, the winner of two grand awards of the 21st Zoom International News Image Contest by the Turkish News Cameramen Association in the “Best Reportage” and “General News” categories.
