Al Jazeera English launches on Samsung TV Plus in Europe and MENA

Al Jazeera English (AJE) has expanded its distribution with the launch of its Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) channel on Samsung TV Plus in the UK, selected European markets, and key countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The service went live on 12 November 2025, making the channel available to millions of Samsung TV Plus users in Europe )UK, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland( and MENA (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt).

Issa Ali, Managing Director of Al Jazeera English, said: "Samsung TV Plus opens new doors for audiences to access our journalism, documentaries and current affairs — free and on demand."

Ramzan Alnoimi, Executive Director of Al Jazeera’s Global Brand Division, said: "This partnership ensures more viewers in Europe and the Middle East can connect with trusted news whenever they choose."

Chris Gregory, Head of Content Development at Samsung TV Plus EMEA, said “With the launch of Al Jazeera, we are continuing to make Samsung TV Plus a trusted source for customers to access the latest news and current affairs on their Samsung TV.”

Samsung TV Plus is one of the most-used subscription-free streaming services in the world, carrying over 3,500 free channels across 30 territories globally, and tens of thousands of on-demand shows and movies.
