Al Jazeera Media Network debuted its first Arabic-language Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) curated service on Samsung TV Plus in MENA, with plans to expand to some European markets soon.

The new curated service titled Al Jazeera World will feature captivating documentaries focused on travel-related content and compelling human stories from across cultures, introducing audiences to the wonders of our world.

Al Jazeera’s new Arabic curated service will showcase some of its top award-winning content from across the network, to include Al Jazeera Documentary, Al Jazeera Arabic, Al Jazeera 360 and AJ+ Arabi.

The service went live on the 28th January, to millions of Samsung TV Plus users in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and soon UK, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland

Ramzan Alnoimi, Executive Director of Al Jazeera’s Global Brand Division said: " The launch of this curated FAST service on Samsung TV Plus expands Al Jazeera’s presence across key platforms, making trusted content available where audiences already watch. By aligning distribution with evolving viewing habits, we extend reach, unlock new growth opportunities, and deliver scalable value for our partners."

Mounir Daymi, Al Jazeera’s Executive Director of Digital Division, emphasized that: "Al Jazeera World ensures that viewers can seamlessly access award-winning content from across Al Jazeera’s diverse channels, thoughtfully curated into a single genre-focused destination, delivering a distinctive viewing experience that resonates with Arabic audiences."

Samsung TV Plus is one of the most-used subscription-free streaming services in the world, carrying over 3,500 free channels across 30 territories globally, and tens of thousands of on-demand shows and movies.
