Ahmad Al-Fahad is the Executive Director of Technology & Network Operations at Al Jazeera Media Network. He joined the organisation in 2012 as the Executive Director of the Projects Department and managed the implementation of internal and external strategic projects from planning to execution and completion.
Before joining Al Jazeera, Ahmad worked for the QATARGAS Company as the Manager of the Projects Department for 11 years. He was a member of the project management team for constructing the south-hook LNG receiving terminal in the UK, owned by Qatar Petroleum Company.
Ahmad graduated with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 2001, and an executive MBA from HEC Paris in 2017.
Ahmad’s achievements include launching and completing the Al Jazeera workplace transformation project and the new Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system for the Network. He also established a corporate projects division, a maintenance division, and developed the project management framework for Al Jazeera Media Network.
Ahmad is also a board member in Qatar Satellite Company (EshailSat) and a member of the EshailSat Audit Committee.
