Ibrahim Abdulla Al Obaidli is the Deputy Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network, bringing extensive leadership experience in Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.
From 2015 to 2021, he served as executive director of Finance, overseeing global budgeting, financial monitoring, and planning. He returned to the Network in 2025 as executive director of HR & Administration, leading Human Resources, General Services, Procurement, and Strategy & Development.
Prior to joining Al Jazeera, Ibrahim was the executive director of Finance and Procurement at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, where he played a key role in delivering infrastructure and host country operations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️.
As deputy director general, he leads strategic transformation initiatives focused on process optimization, operational excellence, enhanced collaboration, and financial governance—helping position the Network for sustainable growth and long-term success in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Ibrahim holds a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences and economics focusing on accounting.
