Mohamed Al Mozafar, Deputy Director of Al Jazeera Documentary Channel, was part of the channel's founding team when it was launched in 2007. He has a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Qatar University.
Mohamed’s current role is acquiring documentaries and films produced from around the world for screening, which represent two-thirds of the documentaries shown on the channel.
He has held editorial positions at Al Jazeera Documentary since its inception, and previously worked as editor at Qatar News Agency.
