Cary Johnston is a British/Jamaican Royal Television Society award-winning journalist who has worked at different international news networks around the world, before joining Al Jazeera English channel as a news presenter in 2022.
Since his time at Al Jazeera, he has presented a plethora of live rolling news events, including the war on Gaza, and the assassination attempt on U.S. President, Donald Trump.
He has also contributed to the documentary series, Al Jazeera World.
Throughout his career, Cary has worked as a journalist and presenter for the BBC, ITV, and RT.
He graduated with a degree in politics from the University of Manchester and also holds a diploma in journalism from the London College of Communication.
