Al Jazeera Media Network strongly condemns the Israeli attack that injured Wael Al Dahdouh, Al Jazeera Arabic correspondent, and Samer Abu Daqqa, the channel's cameraman, during their coverage of the bombing of Farhana School in Khan Yunis on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Wael Al-Dahdouh managed to reach a nearby hospital for treatment for his injuries. However, ambulance teams were prevented by occupation forces in rescuing Samer Abu Daqqa, who, along with several others, were trapped in the school due to ongoing bombings.

The Network's Gaza crew, particularly Wael and Samer, have played a crucial role in revealing the scale of destruction and the horrors of Israeli atrocities, without their dedication and commitment, horrors of Gaza want be exposed to the world.

Al Jazeera holds the Israeli Occupation Forces fully accountable for Samer's safety, deeming this incident a deliberate attempt to target its correspondents and their families in the Gaza Strip and  urges international community to exert continued pressure on Israel to halt indiscriminate bombing, emphasising the need to protect innocent civilians, frontline workers, and media personnel. We urge the international community to hold the perpetrators accountable for these crimes.
