During his more than 30 years of experience in the TV news business Ayman participated in the launch of many Arabic news channels: Al Jazeera Mubasher , Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr, Al Arabiya, Al Ekhbariya channel, Abu Dhabi News Channel, and the Egyptian Satellite Channel.
Ayman was also among the first generation of elite journalists who wrote the early history of Al Jazeera in 1996. Eight years later, he served as a deputy chief editor for Al Jazeera Channel (Arabic) for 6 years. In 2005, he led the launch of Al Jazeera Mubasher as a service and when the Mubasher became a channel in 2010, he was appointed as its managing director.
In the field, Ayman had important contributions; i.e: the coverage of two Israeli elections in 1999 - 2000, the liberation of South Lebanon in 2000, and the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
During his career, Ayman also conducted outstanding interviews for TV, and wrote many articles online, and in print as well.
