She previously served as Managing Director of AJ+, pioneering its groundbreaking success across four languages: Arabic, English, Spanish and French. Under her leadership, AJ+ grew into a leading global digital news platform.
Khatib first joined Al Jazeera in 1997 in Qatar. She has reported from more than 30 countries around the world, establishing bureaus in China and Venezuela, where she served as Latin America Bureau Chief for almost a decade.
