Haitham Abu Saleh is a reporter and programme presenter at Al Jazeera Channel since 2003. During this period, he assumed multiple tasks, including presenting the following programmes: "Mirror of the Press", "The Observatory", and "Interview of the Day". He has presented and produced video-wall reports. As a reporter, Haitham covered many events, conferences, Gulf summits and special coverage in the State of Qatar and abroad, most notably: the Lebanese Dialogue in Doha, the launch of Qatar's first satellite; Es'hail 1, and the Shura Council Elections in Qatar.
He conducted many interviews with heads of state, princes and officials. This includes the last interview of the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak before the 25 January 2011 Revolution.
