Jamel Ardhaoui joined Al Jazeera Arabic in 2004 and worked from 2007 to 2012 as the Channel's Moscow bureau chief, where he covered Russian and Ukrainian affairs, and contributed to the coverage of the war between Russia and Georgia in 2008.
Jamel has produced several documentaries, including "That’s What Anastasia Said" 2007, "Abou Elqacem Echebbi: Standing on the Ruins of the Future" 2009, and "The Dervishes of Sankt Peterburg" (2010), and presented the program "Al-Mashaa".
