M'hamed Krichen is a principal presenter and anchor at Al Jazeera. He has been working for the Network since its inception in 1996 as he presented a number of talk-shows. Over these years, he has been involved in Al Jazeera’s major foreign coverage and interviewed many prominent personalities.
Before joining Al Jazeera, M'hamed Krichen worked as a news anchor for BBC Arabic TV in London, had a political programme on Tunisian radio, and worked as a radio reporter from Tunisia for MBC TV, Monte Carlo and the Netherlands Arabic Radio.
M'hamed has recently published a book entitled: “The Details”, in which he recounts his 40-year journalistic career. In 2006 in Paris, he issued a book entitled: “Al Jazeera and its Sisters" and back in 1986 in Tunisia, he issued a book entitled: “PLO, History and Factions”.
