Al Jazeera Unequivocally Condemns the Israeli Massacre that Resulted in the Tragic Loss of 22 Family Members of our Colleague, Momin Al-Sharafi

Al Jazeera Media Network denounces the bombing by Israeli occupation forces which resulted in the death of 22 members of Momin Al Sharafi’s family, Al Jazeera News Channel Correspondent in Gaza.

Today’s bombing of a house that Momin’s family sought refuge in at Jabalia Camp, led to the killing his father, mother, three siblings and his children.

Al Jazeera Media Network expresses its heartfelt condolences and profound sympathy to our colleague Momin, his family, and colleagues. Additionally, the Network demands that the Israeli military is held accountable for the daily crimes committed against journalists and innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera reaffirms that it will pursue all legal steps to holding accountable all those responsible for this crime.

Al Jazeera calls on the international community and press freedom organizations to work to put an end to these massacres immediately and ensure prompt justice for the families of the martyrs and the innocent victims.
