Al Jazeera Media Network and Wondery are pleased to announce a strategic partnership to bring Wondery’s immersive audio storytelling to the Arab World.

With the Arabic podcast market rapidly growing, Al Jazeera came out strong and  entered the market in 2019 with four leading Arabic shows including the Arab world’s first daily news podcast. This partnership brings Wondery’s flagship “Business Wars” show to Arabic-speaking markets.

Business Wars gives you the unauthorized, real story of what drives major companies and their leaders, inventors, investors and executives to new heights — or to ruin. Seasons include Pepsi versus Coca Cola and Facebook versus Snap.

“Al Jazeera is committed to leading the way in Arabic podcasting and I am proud to bring Wondery’s visionary content to the Arab World” said Dr. Yaser Bishr, Executive Director of Digital at Al Jazeera. “Wondery is a leading podcast organization that brought us shows like Business Wars and Dr Death. We’re committed to serving our audience with informative content and we are therefore excited to be working with Wondery on growing the Arabic podcast market.”

Declan Moore, Wondery’s Head of International, remarked “We are honored to partner with Al Jazeera in expanding the global reach of our chart topping, critically acclaimed show, Business Wars. Business Wars examines the rivalries of well-known organizations and we are excited to share these stories with Arabic audiences.”

Business Wars in Arabic is now live on all podcasting apps. More information is available on podcast.aljazeera.net.
