Doha - Al Jazeera Media Network has signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday July 4, 2018, with PRS Media, which will sponsor “Appointment with the Doctor” to be aired on Al Jazeera Mubasher Channel.

“Appointment with the Doctor” hosts physicians and specialists from around the world to inform and educate audiences about medical topics. The program is designed to be engaging and interactive as audiences can share their stories and ask their questions via social media platforms.

During the signing ceremony, which took place in the Al Jazeera Media Café, Abdulla Alnajjar, Executive Director of Al Jazeera Global Brand & Communications said:

“This agreement is part of Al Jazeera’s ongoing efforts to establish partnerships with different international institutions and leading corporations to expand our audiences around the world. Furthermore, I am looking forward for an increase in our viewers’ medical awareness through this partnership agreement for the program. I look forward to the potential of expanding our cooperation with PRS into the future,” Alnajjar added.

Tayfun Çelik, General Manager of PRS Media, said he was proud of the partnership with Al Jazeera as a leading media organization, several of whose employees have sacrificed their lives in their pursuit of the truth.

“Whenever I watch Al Jazeera, I remember Tarek Ayyub who reported from the field during the Gulf War. On behalf of myself and those of the medical field in Turkey I thank Al Jazeera and value its role and performance. I hope this partnership would strengthen the future relations between the two organizations,” Çelik added.

PRS Media is a TV program production company and provides media services to medical institutions and has established partnerships with a number of Arab and international TV channels and organizations in the Middle East and Europe.
