Jamal is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who manages the Production Department at Al Jazeera Documentary Channel. He holds a master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking from Brunel University (UK), and has directed several documentaries, including:

In 2016, he presided over the Selection Jury at the LatinArab Forum in Argentina, and was a member of the jury for FEDEO in Tangiers, Morocco, in 2017.
