Tarik Đođić is the Managing Director of Al Jazeera Balkans Channel. He graduated with a Law Degree from the University of Sarajevo.
Prior to working at Al Jazeera and becoming Chief of Staff to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Prime Minster’s office, Tarik held several managing positions in the private sector, both in regional and global companies.
Tarik served as advisor to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Director of the International Economic Cooperation Sector – Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Secretary General of Chamber and of Commerce for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tarik is fluent in English and Russian and speaks German and Turkish as well. He has authored two bestselling novels.
During his leadership, Al Jazeera Balkans won numerous prestigious awards and became one of the most watched and influential news channels in the region.
