Mohammed Jamjoom joined Al Jazeera English as a senior correspondent in 2015 and now serves as a senior presenter, drawing on two decades of field experience to guide viewers through major global stories.
His reporting has covered the war on Gaza, the Russia-Ukraine war, the COVID-19 pandemic, the European migrant and refugee crisis, and the Rohingya crisis.
Since 2017, Mohammed has also extensively covered the plight of the Rohingya. In 2026, Mohammed and the team he worked with won two Telly Awards for an episode of “Talk to Al Jazeera” entitled "Rohingya: The Art of Survival".
Before joining Al Jazeera English, Mohammed worked with CNN as a news editor, field producer and correspondent.
