Anne Marie Ćurčić, an Al Jazeera presenter and correspondent, joined Al Jazeera Balkans in October 2011. As a correspondent from Serbia, Anne Marie covers a wide variety of topics, focusing particularly on social issues. In 2015, at the height of refugee crisis, Anne Marie reported from one of the largest refugee camps in Western Europe, the so-called "Jungle in the French city of Calais”.
Anne Marie started her professional career in 1996 at RTV Studio B in Belgrade, one of the first independent media companies in the former Yugoslavia. She was a foreign affairs programme presenter for Studio B, and afterwards worked as presenter and news editor.
