Dalija Hasanbegović has been a news presenter and correspondent for Al Jazeera Balkans since its inception. She conducted a range of high-profile interviews for “Talk to Al Jazeera” among others with Angelina Jolie, Mahathir Mohamad, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Gael García Bernal, A.R. Rahman, Thorbjørn Jagland. Her previous media experience includes ABC's “World News Tonight with Peter Jennings” in New York, Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo, and one of the largest private TV channels in Bosnia Herzegovina.
Before joining Al Jazeera Balkans, while on a hiatus from the media, she had a successful career in strategic communications sector. Dalija holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and a master’s degree in Science in Communication and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics & Political Science and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sarajevo.
