Irena Kuldija presents the news on Al Jazeera Balkans. Her first position was assistant news editor then two years later she greeted viewers from the screen. Irena entered the world of journalism while studying philosophy and sociology at two universities. Her first one-year job was in daily newspaper. After that, TV found her. She worked for Open Broadcast Network TV station for nine years. Now having almost 20 years of television experience, she has done everything, including the morning programme, special shows and news. Irena is fluent in English and speaks German.
