Al Jazeera Media Training and Development Center (AJTC) announced its courses and Diplomas schedule for 2017 during a press conference held on Monday October 3, 2016. It contains 80 titles, 20 of which are available for the first time.

Mounir Daymi, Director of AJTC addressed the journalists and said the market and the job market needs were taken into consideration when the new courses’ schedule was planned. The type of courses were designed to cope with the fast pace development in the media industry; therefore, a number of new courses will be introduced such as Drone photography, Investigative Journalism, Social Media Strategy for Corporations, Professional Blogging, Infographics, Artistic cinematography, and a new diploma program on Digital Media.

AJTC has provided 325 training sessions this year to over 3,500 trainees, 1,500 of whom are Al Jazeera Media Network’s employees, according to Daymi.
He announced about an upcoming launch of E-Learning platform which is expected to launch on the 13th anniversary of the center’s foundation, February 24, 2017.
