Al Jazeera Media Network has announced that its channels will be moving to a new frequency affecting viewers across the entire Middle East and North Africa region on the Nilesat position.

Ibrahim Nassar, Al Jazeera’s Manager of Teleport, stated that starting January 1st 2016, Al Jazeera will stop broadcasting on the following satellite frequencies:

Al Jazeera Arabic: 10992V and 11564H

Al Jazeera Mubasher: 10796V and 11526H

Al Jazeera Documentary: 12054V

Al Jazeera English: 12015V

To continue to watch Al Jazeera, viewers are requested to tune to the new frequency 10971V on the Nilesat orbit position.

Nassar added: “This change is part of Al Jazeera’s continuous pursuit of the latest technologies in the world of satellite and digital broadcasting. The new frequency will ensure uninterrupted access to Al Jazeera channels for our viewers in the MENA region. It will be placed on the recently launched Eutelsat satellite in the same orbit.“

The new frequencies are available at: www.sat.aljazeera.net
