Samer Allawy, Bureau chief of Al Jazeera office in Malaysia, holds a bachelor's and master's degrees in Sharia and law from the International Islamic University in Pakistan.
Samer moved between a number of Arabic television channels, news agencies, newspapers and Arab and international radios. He joined Al Jazeera in 2005 and worked as a correspondent and director of its office in Afghanistan.
