Zaur Sheozh, Bureau chief of Al Jazeera office in Russia, Zaur began working as a journalist in 1992 covering the war between Georgia and Abkhazia. He moved between several Russian media outlets as a news reporter and editor.
Zaur joined Al Jazeera in 2004 as a correspondent from the North Caucasus and South Russia, and then in 2012 was appointed his current role.
