Television anchor and journalist, Haris Slato, has 15 years of experience in journalism. In 2012, Haris joined the Current Affairs department at Al Jazeera Balkans. Haris primarily presents sports news segments and TV programmes. Besides presenting from the studio, Haris also reports live, conducts interviews and composes stories. During the past nine years, Haris has created hundreds of TV news segments, magazine stories, interviews, live reports, and long documentaries. He has covered some of the major sporting events, such as the World Cup and European Championships. Haris considers one of the biggest advantages of this job is the possibility to share stories of some of the most prominent people who inspire millions of others to become better.
