Wassila Oulmi joined Al Jazeera Channel in 2008 as a news and programmes presenter. She holds a Bachelor's degree in media from the University of Algiers and a media diploma from the Institute of Arab Research and Studies in Cairo.
Prior to joining Al Jazeera, Wassila worked for a number of Arab media organisations, including Algerian newspapers Al-Youm, Al-Ahram, and Al-Hayat, and she was a correspondent for a number of television channels.
