Earlier today it was brought to Al Jazeera’s attention that certain individuals and groups are continuing to seek to undermine Al Jazeera Media Network’s credibility by forging fake social media handles with misleading and false news content. Al Jazeera condemns such activities and has asked Twitter Inc. to take down the fake account, and requests all our followers to be vigilant about such fake and fraudulent accounts. We take this opportunity to inform our dedicated audience that the Network continues to bring impartial and balanced news content through all its platforms.
