Folly Bah Thibault is a French-Guinean journalist and principal presenter for Al Jazeera English, based in Doha. She joined the Network in 2010, having previously worked at France 24 in Paris and Voice of America in Washington.
As one of the principal presenters, Folly has been part of Al Jazeera's stated goal of giving 'voice to the voiceless' and setting the international news landscape. She has hosted some of the Network’s most important specials, including the first-ever debate of candidates for the post of UN Secretary General, the Nobel Peace Prize Interview in Oslo and the US elections. Folly has interviewed some of the world's top leaders and newsmakers for “Talk to Al Jazeera” including Kenya’s president Uhuru Kenyatta, French far-right leader Marine Le Pen and music star Akon.
She is fluent in four languages and holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in International Communication.
