Sara Khairat is a correspondent and presenter at Al Jazeera English. She hosts the Network’s news bulletins from Al Jazeera English's headquarters in Doha, and reports from the field on some of the biggest stories of our time.
Prior to joining Al Jazeera English in 2012, Sara launched her career at the BBC in London - where she worked for nearly a decade, producing award-winning news programmes and documentaries for TV and BBC World Service radio.
Sara speaks fluent Arabic, with an in-depth knowledge of the Middle East and its historical and current context.
