Al Jazeera was named one of the Most Viewed Media Companies for the second year in a row by Tubular Labs, a company that tracks all video content cross-platform across all-devices globally. Al Jazeera was ranked 30th, out of 10 million content creators and over 40,000 media and entertainment publishers globally tracked in 2017.

Dima Khatib, Managing Director of AJ+, received the award on behalf of Al Jazeera Media Network and reiterated the role of every team member in the Network’s continuous success: “I am proud of every member of Al Jazeera family, who are the real winners of this award. Al Jazeera has succeeded in bringing its spirit, well-known ethical journalism and its values to the digital arena and it has resonated clearly with audiences throughout the world.”

Tubular Labs annually announces its classification of digital entities, platforms and influencers from across the world, categorized according to geography, category and genre. Tubular’s findings are considered a key and reliable reference for research companies specialized in media and digital marketing across the world.
