Andrew Richardson started his career working in local news in Liverpool, England, before heading to London and ITN. After a couple of years on the “News at Ten” sports desk, he moved to “Five News” as a sports correspondent.
Andrew signed up for Al Jazeera English in 2005 and was part of the team that launched the Channel the following year. Since then, he has been reporting on major sporting events all over the world. Highlights have included seven Africa Cup of Nations, three Olympic Games and two football World Cups.
