Josh Rushing is a founding member of Al Jazeera English, where he has garnered seven Emmy nominations as the senior correspondent for its award-winning, investigative, documentary programme, Fault Lines.
Josh lectures at the University of Texas, where he earned a dual degree in Classics and Ancient History. His first book, “Mission Al Jazeera”, was optioned by Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Appian Way”.
Prior to launching Al Jazeera English, Josh served in the US Marine Corps for 14 years. His role during the invasion of Iraq in 2003 was captured in the acclaimed documentary film “Control Room”. He prominently resigned over the war in 2004.
